I Collage Because I Care

Faith's friend Cara is in Tanzania right now working to expand and develop sustainability in a rural HIV/AIDS community health care program. Not only does she get the good Samaritan award, she has an amazing gift for writing. - check out her blog here - Her speech at Faith's wedding was riveting, as speeches rarely are.

As we all know, Tanzania is far away, and being that far from home can be very lonely. So, Faith is sending her a care package to raise her spirits and I am contributing this collage. Something to decorate her room with - and cheer her up when she's feeling blue.

raya, you are so talented...i'm so glad i have a friend like you...make me a collage for my 30th birthday and i will be your friend forever and ever...by the way, any ideas for how to use really cute fabric scraps? my attempts have failed for cuteness.

Meris, Collage coming your way. As for fabric scraps - what about placemats or napkins? I have this book that shows how to make cool placemats out of one main fabric, with little accent squares...I'll email you with some pictures.

sounds good for future fabric scraps as i can not help myself from collecting every time i go to hart's. i guess i should have mentioned that these particular fabric scraps are children's fabrics. now go, magic brain!
