Sick day

Despite my belief that when you get pregnant you also get a force field around you for 9 months that protects you from all disease, I managed to wake up this morning with a sore throat and a stuffy nose.

I had planned a different post today, but apparently I need to chill out for a bit. So I'll be unplugging for the rest of the day and lying on the couch, gargling salt water and drinking plenty of tea with lemon and honey.

Hope to be back tomorrow : )

i can't believe that you haven't gotten a cold/sick yet. you are truly lucky. with baby #1- i had allergies for the first trimester (if you read about allergies in that book you have that picture from- it says *you most likely will have less allergic reactions when you're pregnant, but if you're one of the unlucky few who have worse ones, that stinks* - or at least that's how i interpreted it). baby #2 (7 weeks left!) i have been sick twice, in a span of 4-6 weeks or something. that one rocked me a bit, but seriously- the worst is finding meds that protect both your body and the baby's.

i hope it is just a day of icky and you wake up tomorrow better. you need to enjoy your nesting/cleaning period!! :)

I thought the same as you but halfway through the first time I go the flu, too. I also was told you weren't like;y to get pregnant while you were nursing. Don't fall for that one either.
