Saturday with Diana+

Light leaks galore this time around. We visited my grandparents in Colorado a few weeks ago. I love where they live and have so many great memories from our visits. It is so different from here - so much land, so much sky. We heart Colorado & Grandma and Grandpa Golden : )

Love the Wonder Years like photo.

Can you tell what camera can bring about photos like these here?

Oh Raya these diana shots are just lyrical and beautiful. Captures the mood of what seems like a dreamy visit to CO. Lovely! Wish I could get some tips on how to use my new-old holga! Where do you get your film developed- any place special? Thanks!

Bob: This camera is called a Diana+ (hence the name of the post : ) & it's a remake of an old plastic camera, much like a Holga. No batteries, no focusing, but the result is really fun. You can buy the at most professional camera stores, online & I think they also sell them at Urban Outfitters. Hope that helps!

Hey bigBANG studio: Thanks so much :) They can be tricky, but part of it is just not expecting your images to be perfect by any means & letting the accidents produce special images. I did a post about this a while ago & maybe it will be helpful.

Let me know if you have any luck!

Fun! Is it an effect or did you make your own diana camera? Or do you really have one! Very cool, dreamy effect.
