Recently a relative of Forest's dad sent us a link to a collection of slides he'd scanned from his Grandma Ruth's house. These ones charmed me - the beach, the camera, the cuff on that boy's jeans, the converse, the umbrella...so different than now, but also sort of the same : )

The color on these is phenomenal. Is that because he scanned slides rather than photos?
