A lovely week in DC & NYC visiting Faith & Ryan, shooting an engagement session in Central Park with Noushin & Robert who are marrying in Santa Barbara this year, visiting monuments & museums, and eating lots of good food.

Stephanie & Amato's Wedding

Sweetness in three words is Stephanie-and-Amato. Sweet wedding, sweet friends, sweet little Kaydence (Stephanie's daughter), sweet details & a sweet time making pictures on a beautiful March afternoon.

And how perfect are those wildflowers? I've been thinking about them ever since.

Fall on Film

I am SO ready for Summer, but I finally got this roll of film developed from back in October and wanted to share.  The blues & oranges in these pictures and the way the light is captured, it's just somethin' else.

I will probably never switch back to film 100%, but I have found a renewed inspiration in starting to play with it a bit more.  I can definitely see using the two together more (film & digital) as they both have really great things going for them.

Part of this rediscovering is the Contax 645 I recently acquired. I have some fun photos from a trip to Enjoy Cupcakes I will share soon.

Jessica & Vijay :: Engagement

On a blustery San Francisco day I met Jessica & Vijay at the Ferry building to make some photos. As you can see these two are a happy couple & love to laugh. They also love to eat french fries, which I happily obliged. I love that series of photos and will definitely be returning for my own order next time I'm in SF.  Thanks for putting up with the weather you two! Can't wait to see you in your weddin' clothes in May.
